If u believe that Varna system on which present day caste system was a rigid system by birth…

Then u have zero philosophical knowledge of Hinduism… And by believing so you will be left only with 2 options :

1.Oppose "Birth based caste system" nd fight against it joining "social justice" business based on selective data of caste violence nd false propaganda of Communists nd cultural Marxists by distorting history nd spreading hate. And thus helping breaking India forces directly.

2. Support "Birth based caste system" nd believe that I m superior to the other castes by birth nd do caste based discrimination. And thus helping Breaking India forces indirectly by supplying them fodder.

So, its important to know the philosophical basis of the Varna system :

It is based on Gunas (गुण) . Brahmin, Kshtriya nd Shudra r three Varnas based on Satva, Rajas nd Tamas Gunas respectively

Yes its hierarchical but the hierarchy is not of social status but of consciousness

Tamas (1st level) : Wo log jo bas shareer me hi rehte h. Inclinations : Eating, sleeping nd having sex . They r lazy

Rajas (2nd level) : Wo log jo apne mann me rehte h. Inclinations :Money, Power, position, intellectuals, warriors. They r ambitious.

Satva (3rd level) : Wo jo apni shareer or man se upar uthkar apni aatma ko pehchante h. Inclinations : Peace, trust, satisfaction, bliss. Neither lazy nor ambitious. Do their duty for the sake of duty.

Gunateet (4th level) : Enlightened Ones like Avtars and Tirthankars

We have all 3 Gunas in us but one of them is predominant. But remember very hard...

"Gunas r highly FLEXIBLE nd can NEVER be RIGID."

For eg :

In the morning, Satva is dominant Guna in all when we do pooja or meditation. If u don’t do these then also its dominant...

... just observe that u will find it relatively difficult to say NO to a beggar or any other work  in the morning.

Rajas is dominant in day time when we all go to our works for ur ambitions.

Tamas is dominant in the night when we do all dirty nd naughty works.
😉
😅

Gunas also vary at bigger time scales. Like childhood is Sattva. Adulthood is Rajas. Old age is Tamas.

Also varies moment to moment depending upon the situations.

But don't use philosophy to justify caste based discrimination. I wish we could abolish this caste system!
